Norfolk 17th to the 21st

Went to see the grandchildren in Downham Market for a few days and happened to nip out now and then to see what was about.   Good to see the Hawfinches at Lynford Arboretum,  also Siskins and one Female Brambling.   Plenty of Marsh tits and Cole Tits and all the others.   Did not see the GG Shrike at Santon Downham but did see the Twites at Thornham and Pink-Footed Geese.

Spring like Day at Gunners Park

Took Russ to see the Serins at gunners and we were not let down,  they performed again today in the same areas,  also didn't realise at first that the bird following the Stonechat around was a Dartford Warbler,  nice surprise,  even bigger surprise  later was a Short-Eared Owl which came low across the park being hassled by Gulls,  we couldn't make out whether it came up from the rough grass around the park or whether it had strayed there from somewhere else.   Wonderful day.
