The elegant Black-Tailed godwits flying along the river; " hello!"   whats that suspicious shadowy figure in the foreground?

It's a bit clearer now,... think it's the Maestro.

Blackcap in my Garden

Stick a few apples out to attract more birds when the weather gets colder.    Russ Sherriff has also had a male and female Blackcap in his garden.

Meadow pipit.  A walk along the river in the snowstorm found a few surprises.    I also heard Dick had a Woodcock there.     It now is winter!

Friday 18th Jan 2013 Harrow Lodge Park

Pied Wagtail,     Half a hour along the river to see if any Snipe were there because of the frozen lakes and scrapes,   visibility was way down due to the snow and cloud,   but with the iso up and my collar up managed to catch up with these few residents.
