Took a chance trip to Rspb Rainham yesterday and was told by Andy Tweed that there were 3 Slavs by the point , so Brenda and I went straight down there, and here they are. What a great sight to see these pristine birds bobbing about on the calm high tide half asleep. Everything was on the river owing to the artic landscape on the reserve. Other bonuses we saw were a female Gooosander a good number of Little Gulls.
